ولدت جوانا بالاني في عام 1993 في مخيم اللاجئين التابع للأمم المتحدة في مدينة الرمادي العراقية، حيث انتقلت عائلتها من إيران بعد الثورة إلى العراق.

قالت مصادر إعلامية إن رجل الاعمال الموريتاني المرحوم سيدي محمد ولد العباس هو من منح الرئيس الغامبي السابق يحى جامى عمارة في نواكشوط مقاطعة تفرغ زينه  كهدية ، حيث حولت ملكيتها في الاوراق على اسم يحى جامى .

ذكرت مصادرة متطابقة من مدينة أطار شمال البلاد  منذ قليل  أن سيدة فرنسية أوصت بثروة مالية ضخمة للمرشد السياحي الموريتاني الداه ولد دندو المنحدر من مدينة شنقيط.

أجرت الإدارة العامة للجمارك في موريتانيا تحويلات في بعض رؤساء فرق الجمارك، بموجبها تم التبادل بين رئيس فرقة الجمارك بمنطقة نواذيبو الحرة مع رئيس فرقة الجمارك في مركز "كوكي" الإداري بولاية الحوض الغربي.

وصلت الوحدة الثالثة والأخيرة من الحرس الوطني المشاركة في حفظ السلام بكوت ديفوار الى نواكشوط مساء اليوم الاحد قادمة من جمهورية كوت ديفوار بعد أن شاركت في قوة حفظ السلام الأممية العاملة هناك.
