تهاطلت أمطار جديدة خلال الـ24 ساعة الماضية على العديد من مناطق البلاد شملت مناطق واسعة في ولاية لبراكنه وأماكن محدودة في ولاية اترارزه.

أشادت بعثة مراقبي الانتخابات التابعة للمجتمع المدني الإفريقي التي كانت تراقب استفتاء 5 أغسطس 2017، في موريتانيا بالظروف التي جرى فيها هذا الاستفتاء يجب أن تكون نموذجا يحتذى من طرف بقية دول القارة.
