أكد الرئيس الموريتاني محمد ولد عبد العزيز أن الدولة لن تألو جهدا في سبيل المحافظة على استقلال القضاء وتحسين ظروف عمل الأسرة القضائية وتسهيل إجراءات التقاضي واحترام أحكام القضاء والعمل على تنفيذها.

انتخب مجلس المحافظين للمصرف العربي للتنمية الاقتصادية في إفريقيا BADEA  وزير الاقتصاد والتنمية سيدي ولد التاه قبل قليل أمينا عام للمصرف خلفا للجزائري عبد العزيز خلف الذي جدد له مرتين.

قامت قيادة أركان الدرك الوطني الموريتاني بترقية عدد من ضباطها وذلك بعد أيام من ترقية قيادة أركان الجيوش لعقداء بالجيش إلى رتبة جنرال وأخرين إلى رتبة عقداء .

أدى حادث مروري مروع شرق مدينة كيفة إلى إصابة تسعة أشخاص بجروح أربعة منهم في حالة خطيرة حسب مصادر إعلامية محلية .
وحصل الحادث عندما انقلبت سيارت من نوع هيلكس كانت تقل عددا من الركاب .

القت فرقة الدرك بكنكوصه القبض على شاب يدعى محمد جدو ولد احمد من مواليد 1990 في كيفه وبحوزته 1636غرام من المخدرات كانت مخبئة في حقيبة يحمل بداخلها بعضا من ثمار المانغو وذلك للتمويه.
