قالت مصادر عائلية إن القائد العسكري المعروف السيد فياه ولد معيوف دخل المستشفي العسكري بعد وعكة صحية ألمت به .
وحسب المصدر العائلي فإن حالة القائد فياه تبدو مستقرة حتى اللحظة رغم الضعف الملاحظ عليه .
ويعرف فياه ولد معيوف بأنه أحد أبرز القادة العسكريين فى التاريخ الموريتاني كما شاع اسمه خلال حرب الصحراء وعرف ببطولاته فيها .
