اظهرت دراسة أعدها أحد المراكز الإجتماعية المتخصصة بموريتانيا ارتفاع وتيرة جرائم الاغتصاب خلال السنوات الثلاثة الأخيرة، لكن الأخطر هو ارتفاع وتيرة المتورطين فيها من الجيران وأصدقاء العائلة.
