أعلن رئيس الوزراء العراقي حيدر العبادي الأحد فتح "المنطقة الخضراء" ببغداد، التي تخضع لإجراءات أمنية مشددة، وحيث توجد مقار الحكومة والعديد من السفارات، امام الجمهور مع الإبقاء على بعض القيود.

لقد أبلغت وزارة الصحة من قبل مصالحها يوم 14 سبتمبر 2015 بأن حالة وفاة يشتبه بأنها ناتجة عن حمى نزيفية وقعت في المركز الصحي بمكطع لحجار وأن المتوفى قادم من بلدة توروقل التابعة لمقاطعة المجرية.

حددت وزارة التهذيب الوطني رسميا الموعد الجديد لافتتاح العام الدراسي المقبل 2015/2016م، وذلك في يوم الاثنين القادم: 19 أكتوبر 2015م، كما أعلنت أن اختتام العام الدراسي سيكون في العاشر من شهر يونيو 2016م.
